Our STEAM program is a 3 hour class, offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to 4 year-olds as a stand alone enrichment class or as part of a full-day schedule.
Students will learn about each component of STEAM through lessons and hands on activities. Challenges are introduced based on everyday problems which students solve using critical thinking skills and trial and error investigations.
STEAM is a 10 month program but students may join mid-year if space is available.
Science Friday is a 3 hour class offered to our 3 year-olds each Friday morning. Students typically add this class as a third day to the Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday Schedule. Science Friday works thematically with the 3’s curriculum to provide enrichment in a wide variety of scientific topics ranging from Chemical Reactions to Nature Explorations.

Enhanced Language and Literacy
Our Enhanced Language and Literacy program (ELA) is a 3 hour class, offered on Tuesday and Thursday to 4 year-olds as a stand alone enrichment class or as part of a full-day schedule.
Students will explore a variety of genres from non-fiction to fiction including: fables, fairy tales, folklore, and poetry. Author studies will be introduced: Eric Carle, Mo Willems, Grace Lin, Bill Martin Jr., Peter Reynolds, Jan Brett are among our favorite authors. The focus of the ELA class is to delve into written and spoken language, increasing alphabetic knowledge, vocabulary and comprehension.

Kiddie Junction Preschool is proud to partner with Soccer Shots. Soccer Shots offers students the opportunity to learn soccer skills in weekly 40 minute classes. 10 week sessions open throughout the year. Please see the Soccer Shots website for more information: www.soccershots.org
Music Time with Miss Laurie
Music Time with Miss Laurie is a weekly 45 minute class for 3 and 4 year-olds. Students explore a variety of music from modern to classical. Rhythm, notes, lyrics, instruments and performance are explored. 10 week sessions are offered throughout the year, schedules will be posted when available.
